All Merlo telehandlers fully comply with EN15000 and the Machinery Directive

There are two ranges of High Capacity Panoramic machines, intended for semi-industrial use. These products are all tested to the Industrial telehandler standards.

High Capacity

It's all about choice with Merlo: there are two families of high capacity Panoramic machines, tested to the Industrial specifications for telehandlers. The smaller P60.10 and P72.10 models use the Perkins 100HP Tier III engine, whilst the larger units are based upon the P120.10 HM design, with a Deutz 145HP motor.

Sideshift front axle

Unusually, Merlo design and build their own axles in-house. Uniquely to Merlo, the sideshift axle permits an integral sideshifter and frame levelling. This means that placing loads up high or onto a truck is much easier and load capacity is maintained to a greater height, as the load can be lifted perfectly vertically.

Suspension

Full Active Suspension (EAS), which gives even better protection against road shocks, is available as a factory option.

Load-sensing Hydraulics

All high capacity Panoramic machines use a Load-sensing hydraulic system. A variable delivery axial piston pump automatically adjusts flow rate, according to the load demanded. The P60.10 and P72.10 standard build uses a two-lever '2 in 1' joystick system.

Both levers are directly linked to the main valve block - one controlling lift and fork tilt, the other extension and the boom head attachment service. A separate lever controls the side-shifting mechanism. Many drivers prefer the direct mechanical control for its simplicity and feedback.

The P120.10 HM and its derivatives have a fully-electronic proportional joystick control.

But no choice

Sorry, no choice on some of the important Panoramic features! They have big cabs and fantastic visibility - drivers love the compactness and manoeuvrability of the Panoramic range.
