Many Merlo handlers feature a patented integral sideshift. With ±110mm of sideways movement with the boom fully retracted, there is plenty of sideways adjustment for precise placement. And, it's built into the chassis, not carried on the boom, so there is no load deration.

As the mechanism is fitted to the chassis, it's always smooth in operation. And, sideshift is included in the stability tests by Merlo, so retains full stability in operation.
