The first chance of the year to see the kit working, Grassland & Muck was held at Stoneleigh Park, near Kenilworth.

It covered all aspects of grass growing and handling, and now incorporates the ‘Muck’ event, more concerned with the other end of the livestock feeding process!

Compact and 140HP Turbofarmer make easy work of the clamp

For 2008, Merlo co-operated with Pottinger to demonstrate grass collection and delivery to the working demonstration areas. As usual, the Turbofarmers put up a spirited display on the clamp (with Regional Manager Paul Bellas providing a ‘blow by blow’ commentary).

Meanwhile, the Multifarmers are powering the Pottinger forage harvesters, just as any other tractor would do.

Grassland works on a three-year cycle, so if you missed this one, you’ll have to wait until 2011!
